Mr. Patrick McMahon is the Branch Manager with EEA Consulting Engineers in Albuquerque, NM. While attending engineering school days Pat served as the Night Maintenance Supervisor in a chemical factory for 6 years running a crew of 5 technicians. Pat received his degree in Mechanical Engineering in 1983 and has been a Professional Mechanical Engineer for the last 22 years.  Pat served as a Product Development / Application Engineer for manufacturers in the HVAC Industry such as Trane Air Conditioning Company, Krueger Air Distribution and Copeland Compressor. Pat authored several engineering white papers while working for manufacturer’s in the HVAC Industry on air flow and ventilation criteria and chiller and boiler plant piping. He has extensive experience in failure analysis of HVAC control systems, temperature and humidity control, specialized ventilation and exhaust systems and large chilled water plant facilities since 1984.

Pat started as a partner with Liston & Associates investigating HVAC deficiencies in office buildings, Research and Development Labs, Industrial Ventilation and Exhaust Projects and Cleanroom Facilities in Silicon Valley serving as the owner’s Expert Witness. The majority of the cases were ventilation problems leading to “sick building syndrome” or Chiller and Boiler Installation errors. Pat’s knowledge of HVAC Systems and extensive teaching of Psychrometric Classes to fellow engineers helped in expert witness cases and in the design and evaluation of malfunctioning systems in the semi-conductor and pharmaceutical industries.
