Research Promotions
Our goal for this year is $9,000. I’m confident that our outstanding contributors can help us reach and surpass this goal. The cutoff for the 2016-2017 year is June 30, 2017, so there is still plenty of time to get your name on our list, or move your name up.
Full Circle is awarded to chapters where all officers contribute at least $100 to Research Promotion. New Mexico received the Full Circle award for 2015-2016 and all officers have already made their contribution for 2016-2017.

The Research Promotion Campaign annually raises funds to support ASHRAE’s research program. It is conducted by the Society’s membership through local chapter volunteers and receives over 7,000 contributions each year from the membership and companies associated with the HVAC&R industry.
This annual support totals more than $1.5 million annually and is matched dollar-for-dollar by ASHRAE from the proceeds of the annual winter AHR Exposition. Since ASHRAE pays all the fund raising expenses, 100% of every donor’s invested dollar goes into the research program.
Members can submit individual or company contributions with their dues payment, or by allocating all or a portion of their reimbursements on the Travel Vouchers, or by sending their contributions to their chapter’s Research Promotion chair. Companies can also send their research investments to their local ASHRAE chapter chair or directly to ASHRAE headquarters made payable to ASHRAE Research (or ASHRAE Research Canada) and addressed to: Research Promotion, 1791 Tullie Circle, Atlanta, GA 30329.
ASHRAE, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and ASHRAE Research Canada is a registered non-profit organization in Canada. Contributions from U.S. citizens and businesses and from Canadian businesses are deductible as allowed by law.
2015-2016 RP Goal Achieved!
The 2015-2016 Research Promotion campaign is complete and we met our goal. I want to thank each and every contributor from the smallest to the largest.
