Message from the President
It’s an honor and privilege to be serving as your President for a second term this year. Last year was very successful, and our leadership team has been working hard to put together some great events for this year. In September we will have our annual golf tournament, sponsored by Sigler, as well as our first Chapter meeting and a Student Activities event. We will also have socials and tours so keep an eye out for those announcements.
Join us in one of our upcoming events. Learn what ASHRAE has to offer, and engage with your fellow members. ASHRAE has 55,000 members in over 100 countries around the world, and our New Mexico Chapter is here to serve you with great programs and opportunities. Check out our website and newsletters to see more of what we are doing, and contact us with any questions or suggestions for future events. We love to hear from you.
Sincerely, Stacey Chan President 2019-2020 2019 Chapter Regional Conference (CRC) San Diego Recap The New Mexico Chapter co-hosted the 2019 Region IX Chapter Regional Conference with the San Diego Chapter in Region X. The joint event was a huge success, in part due to the dedication and efforts of our CRC Committee Chairs Joe Higham and Stephen Forner and our officer volunteers. The CRC is a celebration of the efforts of chapter volunteers for the previous year, and a springboard for future leaders to network and get trained for the next year. The New Mexico Chapter earned the Star Award, Special Citation, the Blue Ribbon (History), Full Circle (RP), and the yellow ribbon (RP). Thank you to all our volunteers who organized events as well as the members who attended them! We look forward to building on our success this year.
