(This is a repeat presentation of the Chapter meeting in Albuquerque)  

Professional Bio

Patrick Filbrandt is an Application Engineer with Greenheck Fan Corporation and works exclusively with Laboratory and Fume Exhaust fan products.  Before joining Greenheck he held positions in consulting and as a HVAC manufactures representative. Patrick holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and frequently presents on HVAC topics including fan fundamentals, air and sound, fan efficiency, as well as laboratory and fume exhaust systems for critical applications.

   

Presentation Summary

Title:  Lab Exhaust

The PDH presentation will review design fundamentals for Laboratory and other Critical Exhaust systems. The primary focus will be on the rooftop air movement equipment and related energy saving opportunities. Upcoming changes to applicable standards will be discussed including ANSI Z9.5 and USP-800.
